This is your basic washing machine from Frigidaire. It looks nice as they put a glass insert in the lid and you can see inside while it washes. It has done a good job so far but it™™s only been two weeks. Only minus is that it™™s very noisy,

Clothes come out clean, and mostly dry. I don't know how to light up the maxfil light on the screen, but it's a minor issue. Not even an annoyance. The manual doesn't say anything about it either. Very happy with the appliance, and would highly recommend it.

I dislike the fact that the washer takes so long to wash clothes even for quick light load wash options is 44minutes. My old Frigidaire washer for quick wash was 21 minutes away which was more convenient

There's so much i like about this washer, the many many options and load combinations you can choose for every load. It's not hard to get hypnotized by watching the clothes through the glass top. It gets the nastiest of clothes clean. The agitator moves so slow while washing its hard to believe anything really gets cleaned. The biggest problem I have is the time it takes. I understand every load is different and depending on the size and Cycle options selected the time will vary. The other day I had a few bed sheets washed and I had forgotten them for a day so they had started to sour. I thought I'll just run it through a small quick wash with cold water white vinegar gear and get them in the dryer in 20 minutes or so. Nope 63 minutes.... 63 minutes for a quick wash!

The appliance store delivered and setup. Started a test wash and left. 10 min later water was all over the floor and leaking into the basement destroying some papers stored there. Called store. Sent a repair guy out within the hour. A hose had never been connected at the factory. Fixed it. Ran first wash and had another leak, not as bad. Called store. They replaced it a week later and said they would contact Frigidaire for compensation - nothing.So far machine 2 is NOT leaking. First time Frigidaire owner. Maybe the last!

Horrible agaitator. It does not distribute clothes evenly even when you put them in evenly. Ends up unbalanced every time. I have had this washer for 14 months and it just broke and I came home to a flooded house because it kept filling with water and did not automatically shut off as it should have. The whole drum is off kilter and it makes a horrible noise when washing or spinning.

We purchased Frigidaire on the recommendation of our repairman as a solid top loader brand. No real complaints to start - some balance issues, refilling and emptying, hard to rebalance but nothing too annoying - over the 2 years. Purchased January 28, 2021 and deemed a loss financially on February 15, 2023. The washer stopped working February 1, 2023 and could not be evaluated for two weeks which equates to lots of $$$ at a laundromat.The clutch body assembly went out (like so many of the other reviews!) and the cost to fix it is nearly the cost of a new washer. Upon calling customer service, I was reminded that the year warranty was up multiple times. I get that. I really do. While I know appliances don't last as long as the ones did from the 80's and 90's, is it really too much to ask for a washer to last 5 years? Is Frigidaire really okay with putting out products that last 2 years almost to the day? I was offered a 20% discount on the clutch body assembly part that is several hundred dollars and then would need to pay for a service visit AND labor. I simply do not have that kind of cash lying around. I wish I could have seen reviews like this PRIOR to spending hundreds of dollars 2 years and 2 weeks ago. DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER! We will not buy Frigidaire again, we will have to add to landfills with a 2 year old washer, and we will share this information with our repairman so he knows not to recommend Frigidaire to his customers. A very frustrated customer~P.S. Interesting to note that "A Very Frustrated Customer" "Frustrated Customer" and "A Frustrated Customer" were all nicknames that were used prior and not allowed to be used again. Take note.

I have always purchased Frigidaire appliances (frig, stove, microwave, dishwasher) because they are very efficient. I have never owned a Frigidaire washer however until now. What a waste of money with the other brands. My clothes feels and looks clean. You don™™t have the feeling that you need to do a second rinse. This washer is everything and then some.

Machine broke during the second wash load. Really! Had 1 successful wash load and then had to carry second load to laundromat to finish the wash. Company did fix it. Now 16 months later it has broken again. Service man said he had to order a part. Now on one can tell me when or if it will be fixed. Been to laundromat 4 times so far and no end in sight. Getting a major run around from extended warranty people and parts people. Really frustrated with whole situation.

Positives:™ Excellent cleaning ability. Fabrics are soft, colors more vibrant than ever before.™ Favorite button is a plus rather than going through selections to find the right combinations of features.Negative: ™ Agitator noise is a bit loud and becomes annoying unless the laundry room door is shut.™ Spin-dry action is concerning: the tub wobbles more than expected no matter what the load is or what repositioning is done. I™™m not sure that the tub ever gets up to full speed. The spin motor seems to cycle between power and coasting. (And yes, I leveled the unit.)

I've seen a few reviews recently regarding the clutch failing after a relatively short period of time (less than five years) and I'm adding another one to the growing list. I've had my Frigidaire washer for less than five years and the the clutch failed. I've read the responses from the Frigidaire representatives stating that in "their experience" failures such as these happen early. I can only related my experience with Frigidaire washers and in my opinion less than five years is early in the life of a washing machine. I replaced a 25 year old GE washer with a Frigidaire washer that lasted less than five years. I guess, in my experience, Frigidaire washing machines have a five year life expectancy.

This is the best washer we ever had. Our GE washer could not be repaired because it was over 7 years old and parts were no longer available. The Frigidaire washer was a miracle. First time it ran perfectly and every time it runs perfectly and produces exceptionally clean clothes with efficiency. I highly recommend this washer.

We have been very pleased with our new Frigidaire washer. Controls are easy to use. Water level and temperature are set automatically, but can be adjusted manually, if desired.. Washing results are great. Large capacity for towels and other large items. Glad we selected a Frigidaire product.

I wish I had read more reviews before buying. The washer attempts to decide how much water is needed by swishing the clothes left and right ultimately bunching them up on one side. The water turns on and then off multiple times when filling. The force is enough to rattle my water pipes. I™™ve tried insulating them but it still causes them to bang and rattle with every fill. Nearly every load needs to be stopped and clothes need to be evenly dispersed during the spin cycle because it vibrates so loud. I loathe this machine and regret purchasing it. Wish I had my 13 year old machine back. Frigidaire needs to remove this from the market.

I can't seem to find that info anywhere. If I put even a small load of laundry in, there is not enough water. So I'm holding off til I have a large load then using max fill. So please someone at Frigidaire, answer my question! Also, it goes through several rinses; I did not request extra rinse. So that alone would be a lot more water.

Frigidaire should be the only kind of appliance that they sell because it's the only reliable kind that they sell. I have been a Frigidaire customer all my life I would never buy an appliance unless it was sold by Frigidaire. I've never had problems with Frigidaire and the one time I did was here recently when I bought a washer dryer refrigerator stove dishwasher and everything something happened to the washer I called them and they were here within one day to fix my Frigidaire washer. If you're looking for good quality appliances always look for Frigidaire if you don't see Frigidaire on it don't buy it. Sincerely a Frigidaire loving customer
